A Thousand Epitome of Palawan.♔

*Partial content for my exam(Pre-Finals) on MIS:
4. Experiences

Palawan is known to be the last frontier which houses One of the Seven Wonders of Nature namely; The Underground River. It was such a privilege to be one of those people who have visited the place. Hence, I had the courage to experience the said adventure and prove to my fellowmen that Palawan is indeed a Natural Wonder and worth admiring for. I may not elaborate all that I have experienced but I will make sure that A thousand words would make it count.

I left my hometown for almost a week with a lot of apprehensions, expectations, anxiousness and queries on my mind, hoping that these would be fulfilled after our trip. Fortunately, our “Lakbay Aral” in Palawan was very productive and progressive that I ought to explore all my thoughts in mind. Moving on to the highlight.. The moment our plane landed to Palawan. My heart felt pure and light because all I can see was the good points that Palawan possesses. It was quite different from other places except the fact that there are not much establishments. Until I knew that they are uniting in the campaign of an eco-tourism place. I can say that they really did well. Even their simple bases and rules have contributed well. Like the Zero Waste Disposal and the Zero Litter on every space. Because all we can see were green and healthy nature and civilized citizens and ambassadors of the Frontier.

As our itinerary goes by, I tend to enhance my knowledge upon learning on the certain fields that we explore which made me realize that Palawan earned me more access on understanding and appreciating a place. We have travelled through land, air and sea. All I have seen was the beautiful creations that God has given us. Well, that me decide that I must and will be an ambassadress of protecting nature. But before that, I should be knowledgeable about nature. So I listened well to our tourist guide and I am hopeful that I would be positive on my act.

Honda Bay is really an epitome of natural beauty. I have enjoyed our island hopping even though we have only gone into a couple if islands due to water difficulties. As much as we want to, the waves of the sea kept on scorning us to depart. But looking on the bright side, those Islands that we went through are somehow worth the effort even though we we’re looking forward to some more eligible islands. To be honest, snorkeling wasn’t that fun for me at that time because the water was too wavy that it can even carry me to move, I was quite scared and anxious as well. So after snorkeling, we rode again the boat to shift to another island where we waited for our lunch. The service wasn’t that fast so we decided to explore the island while waiting. We took pictures of ourselves and the sceneries, converse some of the views that we loved while walking, enjoyed the water, searched for some sea creatures, meet new people of different nationalities and a lot more.

It’s quite childish of me to search for something that a mature woman would find. But I felt really close to the sea when I found some starfish. I don’t know, I just feel blithesome whenever I see varieties of starfish. After exploring the island, we had our lunch eaten and left the island instantly to proceed to our City tour. But before we left, I have seen groups of sea urchins clearly within the water. Well, that was again another manifestation that the biodiversity in Palawan was good and outstanding.
Upon our tour in Puerto Princesa City, I salute Hon. Mayor Edward S. Hagedorn for his very creative insights on the campaign for tourism in his land. It was way better than the others because he managed to advertise the place’s tourist destinations as well as the campaign for an ecological and economical province. So I guess, his move was really effective.

When people say Palawan, the first thing that comes to mind is St. Paul’s Subterranean River. So I told to myself: “If ever I would go to Palawan, I must and should visit the Underground River”. And I did, it did happen with God’s grace because we almost got cancelled upon our Underground River visit due to the weather and the sea’s condition. As soon as we heard the news that we are going to pursue to the river, ourselves simply leaped for joy. On our way to St. Paul’s National Park, I keep on wondering what it really looks like personally despite the waves that keep on bugging our boat. So as we arrived and stepped into the water, I said to myself Yes, I made it”. I have seen the jungle and some of the animals like the cute little monkeys, bayawak, squirrel, bats, etc. Well, it was again another manifestation of the Rich Nature that Palawan have. And now, we are headed to the river which is only a few meters away from the shore, I felt the cold water that probably dropped from the stalactites and the salt/fresh water. I have also smelled what they call the “bat shit”, it was really awful but considerable. I can’t hide my excitement and fear of deep water but I have positively endured it. I did ride the boat calmly without showing my friends my fear because they might just bully me. Upon entering, it was getting dark and the stronger smell the bats produce. I was though fund of our boat driver because of the manner he converse with us. His language was very cool and fun to hear as well as his knowledge. I was astonished by the view and mostly of the natural rock formations. How I wish, I would go back to that paradise as soon as I could. So after that, our Palawan experience has ended.

We went in Palawan with full of expectations and fortunately fulfilled such. We will surely take home good memories and treasure precious experiences. Generally, I have nothing negative to say about Palawan because all was infinitely impressive and surprising. And now, we are ready to be Ambassadors of Nature. So we left Palawan nothing but footprints and memories to keep.=) KUDOS PALAWAN! YES TO NATURE!!♥☺

A 20 peso bill.☠

Are you mad at someone?

Get a 20 peso bill and imagine that the "someone" you are mad at is the 20 peso bill. (more like the money is the person).

Do whatever you want. You can punch it.

You can step on it.

You can crumple it, etc. Just to release the pain and anger you have.

Now, Use the money to buy food.

Eat it

After how many hours, release itNow, he's a SHIT.>:)

You might be irritated because he/she is now in your system? Look at the bright side, that's the best thing about that person. He/She still gave you convenience even after a tragic moment. Eventually, it will be gone anyway. No worries, he's still a SHIT at the end of the day.=)))))

Out Of My League
STEPHEN SPEAKS

it's her hair and her eyes today
that just simply take me away
and the feeling that i'm falling further in love
makes me shiver but in a good way
all the times i have sat and stared
as she thoughtfully thumbs through her hair
and she purses her lips, bats her eyes as she plays,
with me sitting there slack-jawed and nothing to say
coz i love her with all that i am
and my voice shakes along with my hands
coz she’s all that I see and she’s all that I need
and i'm out of my league once again

it's a masterful melody when she calls out my name to me
as the world spins around her she laughs, rolls her eyes
and i feel like i'm falling but it's no surprise
coz i love her with all that i am
and my voice shakes along with my hands
cause it's frightening to be swimming in this strange sea
but i'd rather be here than on land
yes she's all that i see and she's all that i need
and i'm out of my league once again

it's her hair and her eyes today
that just simply take me away
and the feeling that i'm falling further in love
makes me shiver but in a good way
all the times i have sat and stared
as she thoughtfully thumbs through her hair
and she purses her lips, bats her eyes as she plays,
with me sitting there slack-jawed and nothing to say
coz i love her with all that i am
and my voice shakes along with my hands

Sunday MorningMaroon 5

Yeah oh oh oh yeah
Sunday morning rain is fallingSteal some covers, share some skinAnd clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettableYou twist to fit the mold that I am in
But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to doAnd I would gladly hit the road, get up and go if I knewThat someday it would lead me back to youThat someday it would lead me back to you, oh
That may be all I needIn darkness she is all I seeCome and rest your bones with meI'm driving slow on Sunday morningAnd I never want to leave
My fingers trace your every outline, yeahPaint a picture with my hands, no, noAnd back and forth we sway like branches in a stormChange of weather, still together when it ends, oh
That may be all I needIn darkness she is all I seeCome and rest your bones with meI'm driving slow on Sunday morningAnd I never want to leave, yeah
Oh oh yeahBut things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to doAnd Sunday morning rain is falling and I'm calling out to youSinging someday it will bring me back to you, yeahFind a way to get myself back home to youAnd you may not know
That may be all, all I, all I needOh, in darkness she is all, all I, I seeAnd now come and rest your bones with me, yeahDriving slow, driving slowNow yeah yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah yeahOh yeah yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah yeahOh yeah yeah yeah, oh yeah yeah
There's a flower in your hairAnd I'm a flower in your hair, oh oh
Oh yeah yeah, oh yeah yeahOh yeah yeah
Sunday morning rainOn Sunday morning, yeah yeahOn Sunday morning, oh oh oh ohI'll be home, I'll be

Heartbeat

I'm here silently staring
At you, while you're not looking.
Whenever I see you smiling,
These eyes of mine can't stop turning.

Your smile tells it all,
All the reasons I should fall.
I could hardly speak when you're around,
Can't even get my head off the ground.

Holding your hand next to mine,
And thinking of you as my only past time.
I'm so lucky that I met you,
You're the reason why I'm never blue.

I have written your name in my heart.
If ever you'll leave me, it would tear me apart.
I go crazy over my feelings for you,
I want to cherish another moment with you.

Meant to be, you and me,
Together forever, I wish it be
I never expected the boy(girl) I would meet,
Is the boy(girl) behind this heartbeat.

An explicit epitome of Beauty.☮

“Blending in could be so much difficult with belonging but in the Philippines, fitting in is justifiable.”

I may not elaborate all my thoughts here but I guarantee you that I’ll make it count. 7,107 islands: 7,107 ways and reasons to explore the archipelago of fascination. It’s just a manifestation that Philippines is indeed worth admiring for.

Who would have thought, these three huge islands were the haven of outstanding points. To be honest, everything is found on each place but not everything is beamed. Some may have to develop and establish but the Philippines was born with it. Yes, the Philippines was born with dominant resources, attractions, delicacies, cultures and a lot more that motivates other nationalities to visit our blazing paradise. We may have certain deficiencies but at least, we ponder and progress within our standards.

Basically, Beauty is a characteristic of a person, animal, place, object, or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure or satisfaction. And the Philippines is the exact epitome of it. Looking forward to our natural attractions, isn’t it that natural beauty makes it all count? So, Yes to natural. Go and explore. On the other hand, our culture makes us even more unique than other countries such that we are exploring through our resources and creativity that we possess. Moreover, we motivate tourists to sojourn us in a noble manner and that we don’t even have to put so much effort because we have the best specifications and details that the active market demands.

Astonishing beaches, superb landscapes as well as picturesque marine world, spectacular heritage, legendary places, phenomenal delicacies, incredible volcanoes and land formations, extravagant resources, outrageous people, fictitious cultures and a lot more.. We have managed to preserve well what nature has brought us. Everyone is accountable to be ambassadors of nature but not all are capable of achieving. Apparently, Philippines is lucky to bear what action it takes and be even better each day.

“An unelaborated country yesterday, a progressive paradise today and maybe tomorrow, a hyper speeding magnificent promised land of the society.”

One country, One nation. 3 island groups. 17 regions. 80 provinces. 143 cities. 1,496 municipalities and 42, 045 barangays. And yet, there’s always a room for you. So come and join the party. Feel and experience what the islands has brought us. Be polite enough to erudite the nation about us. Stand Out, Innovate and be Proud. It’s more fun in the Philippines! Proven, tested and exposed.☺♥

Hidden Road To Magnificence.✰

*Partial content for my exam(Pre-Finals) on MIS:
2. Why did you choose HRTM as your course?

Hidden Road To Magnificence

I guess you already know my course once you've seen this post. The initials of the heading says it all.

I am a Sophomore studying Bachelor or Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management in the only school accredited by such.- St. Paul University Philippines. An institution where quality education is offered and ensures the bright mere future. These may be the reason why I stay and prefer to scrutinize in SPUP since then.

W H Y    H R T M?
To be honest, This wasn't my first choice. I was planning to take up Mass Communication but I'm afraid, St. Paul University Philippines is not offering such course. I really wanted to stay in SPUP rather than to study in Manila and mingle with other personalities. I don't know, I just like being a Paulinian and I love the innovations that are elaborated. I wanted change but not in the manner of leaving. Who said there's no change in staying? Of course there is. Change is constant. It's applied everywhere on anything and on any place.=) So, I've said it. I still demanded SPUP for my College education. I believe, many courses are offered but the ones in the School Of Accountancy and Business really made me ponder. I had plans of studying BSBA but I realized, It's not the right one for me at the end of the day. So I preferred HRTM. A double degree course that means, more opportunity will rush to me as soon as I graduate.(Hopefully).;)

I chose this course not because I had no choice. But because this fits my personality. The art of this course really struct me. They call me creative and productive so maybe that also added points toward my goal.

Hotel. I wanted to have my own hotel in the future but now, I'm having second thoughts. Because everyone wants to have hotels too. So what would the world be soon? Instead of Schools, everything would be loaded with hotels? Isn't that ironic? I just want to balance everything.=) So if I would be lucky to have a chance to build one, I want something unique and remarkable. I wan't to be known by my difference and not by the common.

Restaurant. I know, food is an essential need of a person. So I want to be the provider of such. I want to serve my best in the most simple yet outstanding way. If I'm fortunate enough, I would like a tropical inspired restaurant. It's like being in a place that's very refreshing and cooling. &&& I want to help stressed people by the simple meditation that the aura of my restaurant would give.;) &&& FOOD is my BEST FRIEND!

I know, this is very ambitious but I do believe on dreams and hopes. As long as you have faith and perseverance, you'll have a chance to succeed. We'll never know, maybe this post would be my basis for achieving my ambition.=))

Generally, I chose HRTM because I want to express my self with the art of innovation. In addition, I wan't to expose myself to certain possibilities regarding this field. As what the PHRTS tagline says:
"We don not just fit in, we stand out; We don not make, we innovate."
Yea, I want to be the part of this step. `Coz I am the change.=) Be positive. I WILL PURSUE MY DREAMS! This may be filled with "wants" but later on these "wants" will be granted. Tiwala lang.;)

Exploring a Bipolar.❀

*Partial content for my exam(Pre-Finals) on MIS:
1. About yourself

❝ A demure juvenile yesterday, a dynamic moppet today and maybe tomorrow, an intensifying and lenient identity of the society

Note:
I may not elaborate all stuffs about me but I'll make it all count.;)

I am sprout named Ma. Contesa Victoria M. Catuaan and honestly, I have never encountered an individual who could pronounce and spell my label correctly on his/her first trial.:P Thanks to my parents for my unique name.=) My peers and family often call me Chai, aging  (shí ), delivered on the 2nd of March 1995, a proud Filipinaa FULL blooded Paulinian, currently a Sophomore studying Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, an optimistic explorer, an innovative apprentice, a friend's pillow and crib as well, a fierced human, a fighter, a productive minor, a responsive lady with a wide perception and analogy, definitely not a quitter and cheater, an appreciative person, etc. &&& a freaking Bipolar. Yes, a bipolar. So, if you have plans of freaking the hell out of me. Better change your mind. Talk to me when I'm blithesome and stay away when I'm on a bad day. I might be rude to you.(TRUE!:D) No worries, I'm often kalog/crazy than being evil.(unless you'll provoke me to do so).=))

I don't really hate people that much to be rude. I just don't like very opinionated, KSP slash papansin slash Epal dudes.>:) And those who think and judge me like they know me better than I do. When I'm not that fine, true friends will notice that. I admit, not everyone can understand my demeanor. I'm used to it. I won't change just to please everyone, right? I'll still be the same, the same REAL PERSON no matter what.=)

♡ Gray, Pink, Beige, tropical colors, chocolates, tulips, FAMILY & FRIENDS, ketchup, my bed, FOOD and a LOT more.:P

I hate frogs, srsly. I am Ranidaphobic and Cynophobic. I have small ears. I usually say "Utang na loob" and "CHOOSE!".=)) I was hurt for a bunch of times but learned a Million stuffs. So I came up with my very own tagline: "There are more reasons to be happy rather than to be sad; There are more productive things to do rather than to cry and be miserable." So everyone won't notice my side of agony. I may smile sometimes but dying inside. Why? Because it's easier to fake a smile than blubber and tell the same story over and over again that makes you remember everything and sob even more.

Want to know more about me? Don't hesitate to comment/message/tweet or any medium you would like to.=) But you'll know me better with my posts.=) Some pictures may not be mine but explanations are originally composed by this amateur blogger.;) Ciao!
